Historical Wayfinding System

‘Banni Nodi’ (which translates to ‘Come, See’) is a series of public signages for the K.R Market neighbourhood. Its aim is to make the history of Bengaluru’s urbanisation public through archival imagery, trail maps, text and illustrations. The identity design is an invitation to see the city through spatial elements like Kote (fort), Pete (market), Thota (farms), Kere (lake), and their evolution over time.
